Own the books for brands that are actually growing, and grow with them.
Why this seat compounds: you won't be buried in one company's ledger. You'll handle the books for a portfolio of growing Amazon and Shopify brands, learn directly from senior accountants and CFOs, and grow into Senior Accountant, Finance Manager and beyond. We promote from within.
We provide fractional CFO and bookkeeping services for fast-growing ecommerce brands and agencies across Canada, the US and the UK, with one goal: to help ecommerce business owners scale with more cash and less stress.
We're small but growing fast, so you'll get the chance to specialize and grow into future roles. And as you'd expect of a finance company, we work hard when we need to, but not for the sake of it: we don't miss our kids' concerts, we work out during the day, and we usually sign off early on Fridays.
You're an enthusiastic, detail-oriented person joining us as a Junior Accountant. While 1–2 years of experience helps, it's not mandatory. We value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. You'll have two major accountabilities: keeping financial records accurate and up to date, and owning the invoicing and billing process so payments stay on time.
You'll work across NetSuite, Shopify, Amazon Seller and Vendor Central, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Hubdoc, Dext, Google Sheets/Docs, Glew.io, Rippling, Gusto, Bill.com and more.
Time zone: 10am–5pm Pacific (PST), with some flexibility for client needs.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience supporting ecommerce businesses, especially on Amazon, is a strong advantage.
As part of early screening, we'll ask for a short 2–3 minute video (phone or webcam is fine) covering why you're interested, what you know about Eightx, your ideal work environment, your strengths, and where you see yourself in five years. You'll always hear back.
Eightx is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
