How to read this tracker

Every figure is trailing twelve months. Inventory days on hand (DIO) is the latest reported inventory balance divided by TTM cost of goods, times 365 — the days of COGS sitting on the shelf. The cash-conversion cycle is DIO + DSO − DPO: the gap between paying suppliers and collecting from customers. A negative cycle means the supply chain funds the brand. DPO uses accounts payable over COGS; DSO uses receivables over revenue.

Inventory and payables are balance-sheet snapshots at the filing date, so a brand mid-build ahead of peak season will read high — read the cohort median, not a single point. Brands that don't break out inventory (pure services, marketplaces) don't appear. For the margin and growth picture on the same cohort, see the Quarterly DTC Leaderboard; for where input costs are heading, the DTC Input-Cost Index. Working through your own numbers? See the inventory-management guide for D2C brands and the days-sales-outstanding benchmark by channel, or browse all live indexes.

Public medians are a floor, not a target — top-quartile private brands beat the public leaders. We'll show you exactly where your margins and growth sit against this cohort.
