We're small but growing fast, so there's room to grow into roles like Finance Manager or VP Finance over time.
About the role
We need dependable support to manually refresh data feeds and maintain multiple audit and CFO client deliverables. Working closely with our finance team (Matt, Pat, Ash and Red) via Slack, you'll extract, organize and update financial data daily, making sure our team and clients always have accurate, real-time information.
Time zone & commitment
- Daily evening commitment: available daily at approximately 8:00 PM Pacific Time for critical data feed updates. Consistency and reliability are essential.
- Flexible additional hours for report refresh cycles and maintenance. Total estimated commitment: 10–15 hours per week.
What you'll do
Daily data feed management
- Monitor and extract relevant data from Slack communications with the team
- Perform manual data updates every evening at 8:00 PM Pacific
- Process, organize and compile data feeds into standardized formats
- Verify accuracy, flag discrepancies immediately, and confirm completion via Slack
CFO client deliverables: regular updates
- Daily Net Profit Trackers, Cohort Analysis and 13-Week Cashflow
- Financial Analysis & Modeling, Model Review and Board Packs
What you must have
- Evening availability: daily at 8:00 PM Pacific. This is non-negotiable
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation)
- Proven data-entry experience with financial data and spreadsheets
- Exceptional accuracy: errors in financial data have serious consequences
- Strong Slack and professional written communication
- Independence and reliability: daily execution without fail
A background in finance, accounting or financial analysis is preferred, not required. Familiarity with financial modeling, Shopify data exports and cohort analysis is a plus.

- All client reports refreshed on schedule, with 99%+ data accuracy
